My Experience

I studied my undergraduate and honours degrees at the Rand Afrikaans University (RAU cum laude), my research psychology masters at the University of Johannesburg (UJ cum laude), and my masters in neuropsychology at the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS).

I completed my internship at Tara Hospital in the Children’s Outpatient Department, Children's Ward 9, Biochemical Adult Ward 6, and Biochemical Female Ward 9. My Community Service year was undertaken in Ekhurhuleni Northern District Primary and Secondary Health Care Community Clinics in Bedfordview, Edenvale, Kempton Park, Spartan.

Further to this I have lectured psychology and cognitive studies at Midrand Graduate Institute (now Pearsons), The University of the Witwatersrand, and Monash University. I have also run outpatient Dialectical Behavioural Therapy groups in both the government and private sectors, whilst also running support groups for Parkinson's Disease and seminars on Functional Neurological Disorder.

I work in private practice at The Neuro Hub - a multidisciplinary neurological rehabilitation and management team consisting of Neurophysiotherapists, Biokineticists, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Neuropsychology. I am also currently part of the Solid Organ Transplant Team at Donald Gordon Medical Centre where I provide pre-operative suitability assessments in addition to therapeutic services and family therapy for paediatric patients.
